How many Americans actually understand that this is a duty that all citizen of a country hold. Even the one without papers. Even the convicts. Even the mafia.

Being an NCOIC of critical mission at the national and international level, I had to scale up my understanding of duty to meet expectations and to meet mission needs. I had to demand results from people around me, and why I do not get results when it fails. Rising up in the ranks, the older guys will always say they want me to deliver solutions instead of complaints and excuses. How I see it, is that we have a nation of 350 millions traitors. No one is really defending it. The oath is still there. People still recite it. For self image. Since we have people who maintain an image of someone who does defend the US constitution, the task is largely left to the next sucker like myself who has not figured out the lies from the realities.
