According to what I am reading from Samir Okasha, these thought leaders, were locked step until the 1960 before it was disintegrated. Focused on natural science, math, and logic. This aligned with personal experience as a student growing up in the USA. We place great emphasizes on logic, while possibly looking down on nonlogic.

Even after the world change, white supremacy could still be the supremacy in thoughts, but just not in the same scale as it was. Similar to how 1920 is not the same as 1970.
