Forgotten First Principle

https://blogs.microsoft.com/blog/2024/06/02/microsofts-datacenter-community-pledge-to-build-and-operate-digital-infrastructure-that-addresses-societal-challenges-and-creates-benefits-for-communities/?

Microsoft is connecting with communities again.

One of the most forgotten principle of success is the community. The entire point of doing anything:

1. business
2. education
3. research
4. government
5. even war

Is to deliver some benefits to society. not your personal wallets. Every empire that had ever existed had brought trememdous benefits to more people than the first. It is the community that propel them to great status, not the guns.

In the teaching of buddhism, it is a standard belief that people will never need the temple if they are making good money and doing great. they only remember the temple when they have fallen on hard times and need spiritual support/guidance.

I myself have been included in this statistic.
