Unchanging Principles In Changing Time
If you marry the spirit of your generation, you will be a widower in the next.
This notion has been credited to two prominent religious figures: William Ralph Inge who was Dean of St Paul’s Cathedral in London and U.S. Catholic Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen who was a popular broadcaster. From my deathbed, I had to reenvision a life, that could make sense of the life I had experienced. Some ideas that violate apparent truth had to be discarded. Some like white people are superior, authority figures are superior, etc. It makes the world more lonely when you start to see yourself as the only authority you can count on as the truth. These are principles I can attest to with my own experience. The purpose is to help me deal with this world. 1. People do not change. people who harmed me in the past, have had a change of heart and become a better person today. They need something. When this white supremacist Keith told me he liked me, it was only when he was faced with losing his job. He needed me to save him. His friend asked me to drop the charges against him for a violent workplace. 6 years later, a coworker of his committed suicide. 7 years later, he made more attacks against me behind my back. People can change, is the theory, but the unchanging principle is that people will not. The change may not have anything to do with their regret of past actions. Pure kindness is not based on plotting around personal benefits. 2. No need to force others to openly admit to anything. Their actions already answered the question. The US sending weapons to Israel to commit genocide is a clear indication of what it stands for. why would you ask it to state anything? Is it not clear enough? The rule of law does not apply equally, to me, to you, and to others. If you could not take a hint, please at least take the death of 40,000 people as sound evidence. How about the death of 100,000,000 people in North America? How about funding the genocide of 6 million Jews? You cannot say these people killing Jews were Jews-loving people. Words can be a curtain, but the action is a clear communication. How each of us interacts with everything around us is a clear answer. How silent is a clear answer?
- The most dangerous human is not the one that lies. The most dangerous humans are the ones that say the truth in front of you. all the lies have been planted before. The tour that Elon Musk received from Netanyahu, everything is vivid-but sadly all of it was lies planted beforehand. Terrorists are bad, that sounds like a very true statement. but who is a terrorist was a lie planted before the person tells you to go kill a terrorist to save your family. In one movie I have seen, the mountain bandit wanted a pretty young woman, but the parents refused to give her a hand in marriage. He had his hired hands come to kill her parents and tried to rape her. He shows up in time to save just her and slay all the bandits. She later runs a brothel to gather intel and report on traveling people for his bandits to operate. The whole time believing he savior is a hero. 4. People who celebrate those in power, and hate the poor. Everyone can be weak one day. Look at all the old men on their deathbeds. Look at all the kings of the jungle in the old days. When you surround yourself with people who hate the poor/weak, then what future can you expect? 5. Someone who does not talk to you for many years, and then comes out asking for help. to borrow money. This could indicate a lack of responsibility, in maintaining relationships. lack of money management. They neglect you for years, and then only contact you after they have fully depleted all their closest allies. 6. independent from any payer. from the small decision to the big decision, you will need to ask for permission. To truly sustain freedom, you will need to protect your financial freedom and deny anyone the power to control your livelihood. 7. cannot tolerate people who are better. the closest people to us, cannot tolerate us becoming better. our most trusted ally may be envious of our progress. 8. Helping others should only help halfway. If you help all the way, they will rely on you. They may feel burdened by the debt. If you can help them halfway, they can take credit for the other half and build up their own strength. 9. No one likes the weak or wants to associate with the weak. We do not say it, but that is our nature. we want power and status that bring us more value. This is the human nature. 10. people who betray you or turn your back on you. You should never forget. This can never be repaired. The loss of trust can never be replaced or rebuilt. The distrust will always be there. You cannot let time make the memory fuzzy and think of only today, as a new day, and tomorrow as a new day. There are more, but the idea is that these principles do not change over time, but stay consistent across time and people. In the big overarching theme of success in life, the Chinese have a very succinct phrase that explains the condition for the success of an individual. the right time, the right place, and the people in the English language do not carry the same richness. It must be elaborated. There are laws, laws in which all things must abide by to exist. The law of god as christian call it, and the law of nature as darwin calls it would make up one set of laws. These are the same geophysical phenomena the US Air Force had trained across 9 months. Humans
did not make these laws, but humans cannot exist in disregard to them. We can make a law that says humans can jump out of an airplane at 2,000 feet and not die upon falling onto the earth’s surface, but nature does not have to comply and we would die. This is heaven’s mandate or laws that Asians or Chinese refer to as the laws of heaven. Yes, people twist them to serve their personal interests, but what I am referring to is the laws as they exist not as we humans define them to fit our purpose. Achieving a geographical advantage is not as basic as a dot on the map. It has to do with the relations of the locations or place to all else. Relations with the laws of nature, god, heaven, or universe, as well as the people. The place, I like to interpret loosely, as cyberspace, and LinkedIn could be regarded as a “place”. This place is obviously different in 2024 than it was in 2014, with just 10 years of time. There exist laws on how these places work with or against other forces or laws. It is like that intersection where humans will face off with the will of heaven, and negotiate how things will be played out. The laws surrounding the relationship of people are easier laws to articulate. There are unchanging principles that apply to the human relationship that cannot be violated. Well, one can violate, at one’s own risk. Young people don’t care, and old people learn too late to put them to good use. As for some of the principles listed above, there exists a very long list of them in every religion. Why do doctors and lawyers or very successful people in the modern scientific or Newtonian age find value in religious practice? Are they less smart than us? Many of us 20 something learn a little knowledge from the book of Science and we think we have the world figured out and look down upon the religious practices of people we think are less informed. The whole idea of doing others as we wish done to us is not a big stickler. We are committing genocide on others, but we demand that no one should consider committing genocide on us. Which laws of heaven, support this idea? Which law of being the right place supports this Idea? which laws of the human’s invention support this idea? The US has a mightier military. so it is able to carry this genocide without punishment. Yet, if we have faith in the laws of nature, god, and heaven–we understand where this is leading us. This idea goes against a lot of sound ideas, and in the end, it cannot with. This idea is that we can keep on killing other people’s children, and not have to deal with the consequences. Is a delay in 10 years worth it? so if we can eradicate Arabs. let’s say we can kill off 1.3 Arabs and take everything they own. including Iran and Saudi. How long would the delay in consequences justify the risk for this action? 100 years is worth it? If we can carry this debt for 100 years without repayment, is it worth it? Where we kill all these people and take their land, and they cannot retaliate for 100 years; but after 100 years, they can reciprocate. is it worth it to enjoy this advantage for X years? and then pay the price for our actions? Or do we honestly think, there are no consequences? This is not harping on religious principles. One can develop their own. The one I cited has little to do with religion. These are things people with grey/gray hair can tell you without opening a book for reference.
These are the principles that you must have to interact with the top leaders of this world. Anything less, and you may end up a useful idiot. In this changing world, where order has proven chaos in disguise, is quickly pulling the rug from many people. They have been untrained to deal with these problems of 2024. as 99% of the population of the linkedin community connects to people to ask for money. when they contact me to ask for help, for a job, for money, or for collaboration; they do not understand that they are in a very disadvantaged position. Where were they when I needed help, that now I should render help because they need help? If anyone managed to make it pass my wall of text, I would like to leave one short piece of advice. Find your own kind. conquer the world with your own. All the money in the world will be yours. Finding money among people you should not trust, is simply being a useful idiot. Worse, you end up selling your own for a little profit today and have to face the consequences of betraying your own kind at a later day. When you lose your arms and legs, who will carry you? When you lose your tongue, who will speak on your behalf? Why do I connect with people who have no money? What have people with money done for me? Why would today be any different than yesterday? The people that do not care for me yesterday, will likely not care about me today, or tomorrow. the cry for help! may as well beg ourselves to stand up for our own rights and such. It will sooner respond than any god or people who did not help us yesterday.
