179BC The Fall of the Holy Land

Shortly after uniting Au Lac and Lac Viet, King An Duong changed the empire’s name to Au Viet. Which later was conquered by Viet Nam (not exactly the same as present-day Vietnam).

There is a version of the myth or historical fiction that speaks to the culture of the people. Perhaps it is the culture that is still in today’s present-day Vietnam.

The king’s daughter supported the enemy in disabling his national security and allowed the enemy to march into his kingdom and conquer his land. He found out his daughter had caused the fall of his kingdom, slayed his daughter, and killed himself. Apologizing to future generations that he failed to teach his daughter and had led to the demise of the kingdom. He killed his own daughter and killed himself to apologize for his failings. He hopes that future generations will teach their children well.

Similarly, the US Constitution and the letters written by the founders pass on the same sentiment. Teach your children well.

By 2024, not only did the children of America betray their country, but proudly clapped themselves on the back for doing so. It shows a great contrast between duty and fruity.

In Les Miserable, the lawman is sympathetic to other’s suffering, but he must carry out the law. It speaks to the culture of duty.

But today’s generation, speaks to an imaginary wealth called the USD. Conjured out of thin air, and vanish into thin air after a short time. In the interim, they make out like bandits. Duty is that thing they decorate the walls with, and laws are only doormats they step on towards their office.

Wherefore art thou laws and duty!
